"A World I No Longer Know" Series

I live in a world I no longer know. Borders closed, books banned, civil rights in reverse, women’s choices diminished, diversity and inclusivity battered.

In these artworks, people are depicted in silhouette—anonymous figures without specific identities, names, or faces. Is this how they appear to those who are shutting the door on their fundamental rights? These spaces of suppression and containment leave little room for the empathy, acceptance, and compassion I once knew.
