Another Dimension 19"Hx26"Wx3"D

Another Dimension is an abstract paper sculpture using geometric shapes and forms to depict an ‘almost-but-not-quite real’ place. I offer an ambiguous world, somewhere between authentic and imagined. The sculpture was inspired by the angles and rooflines I see during my morning walks through my South Florida neighborhood. I built in bas-relief to emphasize the spatial dynamics of the composition, with the hope that the viewer will be compelled to consider and ponder the imagined space. 
 
This work is professionally framed and ready for hanging. The frame is white and the work floats atop a white mat. To highlight yet protect the three-dimensional elements of this work, I invested in non-glare Museum Acrylic as its cover.
