In Harmony - Daybreak 16.5"Hx24"Wx2.75"D
“In Harmony – Daybreak” is one of a series of three abstract geometric paper sculptures that juxtapose photos of the natural world with architectural forms; this one is of the sunrise. In this work, my goal was to express my hope for the healthy and respectful coexistence of that which is manmade and the natural world. In the series, I wanted to highlight the uncertainty we face on the planet and ask: Will we be able to protect the life we know today, or will the changes in the climate that we are experiencing worldwide force us to live in a new reality?
This work is professionally framed and ready for hanging. The frame is white and the work floats atop a white mat. To highlight yet protect the three-dimensional elements of this work, I invested in non-glare Museum Acrylic as its cover.
