These Sculptural Landscapes were created by using the photos I took at South Florida’s beautiful nature centers. They highlight my concern for the health of the planet and the uncertainty we face with the dramatic changes in the global climate. The photos were printed onto drawing paper, then mounted in pieces, with some elevated to create a bas-relief sculpture. I then drew into the final landscape with graphite, charcoal, and colored pencil, to accentuate light and shadow.
